New Year Resolutions

I will not do whatever it takes to get something done but there are no limits to what I will do to ensure I fulfil my dreams and ambitions, even if I do so by deviating for a while, so long as the end result is what I want to achieve.

This year is a brilliant opportunity to not only start over but to also continue striving towards personal ambitions. The new years’ resolution that we set and did not achieve are not a failure. The start of a new year also means we make resolutions that we work to maintain or achieve.

Your resolutions are yours and yours alone, so don’t feel any external pressure. As for me, resolution means nothing if there is no work invested in trying to achieve them. They can also tend to be impermanent sentiments that we utilise on a subconscious level to invalidate our fears of the unknown as a year begins. The truth is; resolutions usually take time to take shape hence we should not lose motivation after a year ends. 

There is no problem with improving ourselves,  but resolutions are in essence founded on ego. Most of them are about receiving more in life which suggests that most resolutions are self-centred, but in order to get more out of them, rather unlearn habits and adopt new habits this year. These will help actually instil a tangible change in your life. This year, choose differently and live. Keep your eye on the price and sooner rather than later, your perseverance will pay off.

Do you find yourself questioning a lot of things about what life is and how it is supposed to be? Sometimes you even find yourself in tears when you start noticing how life is turning out for others and yet yours seems to be either inactive and not as per how you envision it.

Well such is life, it really is a mystery and it’s only until you learn to embrace and master that then you shall live. If good times rolls, then will times of trouble, it's a spiral.

Day in an out we are faced with this adversity but we are given quotes and formulae to face our minds and break barriers to better face our challenges, so we share our experiences and relay the knowledge to the upcoming generations.

Well, we sometimes have those dreams where we see our future, and you know what’s worse? It keep on changing daily like that of a woman's heart. Breathing seems so hard sometimes whenever we giggle and pour lungs out, problems quickly display on our minds and our jolly smile is wiped away from our faces. It tends to happen in front of a crowd though.

Nothing we can do to stop life problems, but we should show no weakness and keep our senses within us and tell the whole world that we are fine because the moments of golden flashes of light will be back soon and good luck to you this year.

My proposition for you this year is; avoid those excuses for not praying and allotting few moments of your spiritual life, then make it your ambition to live a quiet life, to mind your own business and to work with your own hands. Lastly; always put a smile on your face to solve problems and silence to avoid them.

Finding the knowledge of supernatural powers does not mean we nearly get knowledge about them, it means to know them personally. Jesus came to reveal the father and bring us to Him. There is nothing sweeter than an inmate relationship with God through the son. This is the ultimate success, the ultimate happiness, joy and satisfaction. This should be your ultimate goal through life.
