U4GM Diablo 4 Season 14 Update Guide

As of August 19, 2026, Diablo 4 is still running Season 14, Season of Death Awakening, with Patch 3.1.3 as the latest documented live update. It is not a big class-balance patch. Instead, Blizzard has focused on annoying access, tracking, teleport, and visual problems. That matters if you are spending D4 Gold on seasonal upgrades, because a broken objective or failed activity teleport can waste far more time than expected. The patch was listed for August 12, while one console report showed August 13, probably because of platform or regional rollout timing.

What Patch 3.1.3 Actually Fixes

The Season Rank III objective Set Fire to the Beacons now recognises Escalation Nightmare Dungeons with the Ruptures affix. Previously, a valid run could simply fail to count. War Plans also received a fix for teleporting to Infernal Hordes on difficulties below Torment. Late-arriving party members can now use a portal to reach the third stage of an Echo of Mephisto fight. These are practical fixes, not changes to boss health, loot, dungeon rewards, or enemy scaling. There is no evidence of a new live update on August 19, and the separate 3.2.0 Season 15 PTR material should not be confused with the current game.

Small Visual Fixes, No Class Rework

Corrupted Reaper encounters should look cleaner after the patch. Resummoning the boss removes the old corpse, Druid's Petrify no longer bends its wings, and Necromancer Shadow skills should not hide the model during combat. A Warlock using the Chain Aura Variant of Dark Prison will also no longer appear transparent to other players. None of this changes class damage, cooldowns, resource costs, or skill behaviour. If you were hoping for a Barbarian buff or a Rogue nerf, this patch simply is not that update.

Deathmask Poison Flurry Rogue

For players pushing Season 14 endgame content, Deathmask Poison Flurry remains a fast melee option. The build revolves around Deathmask of Nirmitruq, Flurry, and Poison Imbuement. Once Energy runs out, the helm lets Flurry continue by spending 8% of maximum health per cast. Those casts gain 50-70% increased damage and 50% attack speed. You will notice the build's rhythm quickly: attack, spend health, recover, then dive back in. Dark Shroud, Concealment, and either Shadow Step or Dash help keep that cycle from becoming a one-way trip to the respawn screen.

Playing the Build Without Throwing Away Your Health

Aspect of Encircling Blades gives Flurry its useful surrounding coverage, while Aspect of Stolen Vigor supports healing through Momentum. Aspect of Disobedience adds armour as you deal damage, but armour does not pay back Deathmask's health cost. Keep Dark Shroud active, save Concealment for crowd control or a meaningful recovery window, and avoid standing outside enemy packs where Flurry loses value. Exact skill ranks, Paragon boards, glyphs, Tempering choices, and Masterworking priorities are not confirmed by the available material, so treat any precise guide claiming otherwise with care. When upgrading the build, use a reliable source for items rather than assuming every listing is the best place to buy diablo 4 runes.
