To craft Ber in Diablo 4 Season 15, transmute two Lo runes and one Grand Topaz in the Horadric Cube to receive one Ber. No chest armor is needed for this conversion. Keep your rune checklist alongside your D4 Gold budget so each required material stays accounted for.
Prepare the Cube and the exact ingredients
Unlock the Horadric Cube through the Lord of Hatred campaign, then access the crafting station in Temis. Access to this expansion feature is a prerequisite; having the ingredients alone does not unlock the station.
Place two Lo runes and one Grand Topaz into the Cube, then select Transmute for the matching recipe. Lo is the rune's actual name, not a description of any low-tier rune. The gem must be Grand Topaz, so check its full name before committing your materials. The conversion consumes both Lo runes and the gem.
Build up to Lo with separate conversions
The upgrade route below lets you turn specific earlier runes into the ingredients for Ber. Each row represents a separate transmutation, with its own gem cost. Start at the row matching the runes you already own.
These are not interchangeable recipes: Flawless Diamond belongs to the Ohm-to-Lo conversion, while Grand Topaz belongs to the Lo-to-Ber conversion. Collecting the final gem will not complete the process while either Lo rune is still missing.
Count your Ber before crafting Jah
Enigma requires one Jah, one Ith, one Ber, and a Common, white-quality Chest Armor. An Ancestral Common base produces Ancestral Enigma with the same rune ingredients. Magic, Rare, and Legendary chest pieces do not meet the base requirement. These requirements apply to the Season 15 recipe for patch 3.2.2.
Jah can also be made by transmuting two Ber runes with one Grand Sapphire. If you use that route for Enigma, you need three Ber in total: two consumed to create Jah and one kept for the armor. That total is calculated from the two recipes, not an extra crafting fee. Check for an existing Jah before spending your Ber supply.
For the remaining rune, three Eth produce one Ith without a gem. If you need to make Eth first, three Tir produce one Eth, also without a gem.
Open your inventory and mark which Diablo 4 materials you still need. Make the next missing ingredient first, and reserve your completed Ber until you have decided whether it belongs in the Jah conversion or the final Enigma recipe.
